OLIVER SUBARU - HELPING NEIGHBORS IN NEED - ANGELA K

On July 10, 2023 flood waters devastated Ludlow as well as the surrounding Towns. The fire department answered 18 calls that day with many more in the following days and weeks. We responded to fire alarms, evacuations, water rescues, propane emergencies and reported smoke and fire calls. The men and women of the Ludlow Fire Department responded with courage and dedication to help protect those that they serve. The donation of cots from Oliver Subaru of Rutland allowed us to help our community to have comfort when they were displaced from their homes. These cots not only helped us in this emergency, but will also help us for future emergencies to come. The night of the flood, Firefighters had to sleep on the floor because we did not have cots. Knowing that we have these now, we will be more comfortable and much better prepared in the future to take care of our people. We want to send our sincere appreciation and gratitude to Oliver Subaru of Rutland for their generosity. It's nice to know that there are incredible people out there who are willing to help neighbors in need. It's about people caring for people. Thank you again for your support.
